Helen's Story is a project that aims to redress the widespread misconceptions about epilepsy.

Epilepsy is an incredibly complex and varied condition, which affects 600,000 people in the UK, yet it's so often reduced to throwaway pop references about strobe lighting and massive seizures.

Helen's Story aims to shed light on what it is to live with epilepsy.

The project ran as a cover story in the Observer New Review, and inspired a Radio 4 play entitled 'Slipping through time.'
